From old wiki

I might as well make a page for it... A cross between Dookious (movement) and Ascendant (gun). Version 1.0 is Dookious 0.98's movement, Ascendant 1.2.6's gun. I'll make a proper page tomorrow... -- Voidious

I'm both excited and extremely humbled by the results so far. After 100 pairings, it's about 2/3 of a % point per opponent above Dookious 0.98, and almost a whole % point above Ascendant 1.2.6. (Those two bots are about .25% apart on average score per opponent.) This result was very nice to see, and I should probably go to bed before they're matched up again...

Fighting battle 3 ... wiki.Tyranius 1.0,abc.Shadow 3.66d
RESULT = wiki.Tyranius 1.0 wins 3035 to 1915

Only 2.2 points away from the 2100-barrier! Now Voidious and Mue know where to search for some extra points. You'd better call this bot Tyranius-Rex as it eats all others bots alive. -- GrubbmGait

Actually it still has two losses. =) But hey, 2094 is nothing short of amazing! Congrats to v for creating a super-awesome movement. Some of us *cough* already knew that Mue had a gun that redefines the word awesomeness. This is all very inspiring. 2094. I would never have guess a score that high! Yay! -- PEZ

Impressive! I also knew Mue's gun was awsome, but I thought Voidious' one was much closer than it aparently is... This could be a case of gun and movement complementing each other, but over 10 points above Dookius? Much higher than I expected. -- ABC

Wow, it was definitely a good idea to try that cross, so thanks @Voidious for trying. This probably means im about 15 points behind in movement. Thats far more than i'd have guessed, i always thought that Ascendant's movement is pretty good with respect to the rumble population. I'm really tempted to take a look and maybe run some tests with Dookious' movement.... And like ABC i expected Dookious' targeting to be much closer to Ascendant's. Its a little frightening that Dookious as the #1 bot can still collect about 10 rating points just by some gun tweaking. --mue

I'm also quite surprised (and excited!) by the rating. Recently, I was starting to think that 2090 and 2100 are "possible" as ratings, just considering that RaikoMX was 2060+ once and is now 2030... And there it is! I knew Ascendant's gun was awesome, but I didn't think it would make such a difference with our movements. Maybe I'll shelve my recent experiments in the MovementLaboratory and work on my gun a bit =) -- Voidious

Oh, and "10 rating points just by some gun tweaking" might be a stretch =) Finding 10 points in my gun will require me to put my ThinkingCap on, for sure. But I certainly look forward to getting to work on it after seeing this result... -- Voidious

You can remove Tyranius from the rumble whenever you please, mue, I just wanted to leave it up there long enough to get closer to 1200 battles (I've seen 3 point diffs after 1000, although rarely), and see the PremierLeague rankings get updated. Thanks for giving the OK on this beast, it's been quite a learning experience =) -- Voidious

Ok, i removed it. I'm curious what you'll come up with for your targeting. And i figure that such a ThinkingCap might be useful, i probably should get one for myself too ;-) --mue
