I am a senior lecturer in Future Technology (Computer Games development, Robotics and A.I. mostly) and came across Robocode in 2005, when I was looking for Games related A.I. testbed platforms to provide some structure to assignments for the Games and A.I. modules that I ran; Others included MarioAI and Pacman-vs-Ghosts.

I have not been an active Robocoder on the wiki but I the recent project to reboot [[Virtual_Combat]]

I am looking to bring Virtual Combat (on the now defunct branch custom-battlefields2-workspace) up to date with the current master for RoboCode. This is so a student of mine, James Braggins, can use it as the basis for a simulated maze solving challenge.

Scratch that. I have found an option to turn off the results dialog box. However, it would be good to document such options as they are rather hidden away.
Again, maybe this is more relevant for the RoboCode main web site.

I'd like to see an option to suppress the results dialog box. I am experimenting with GA/GP evolution of RoboCode robots and would like, occasionally, to run this with the GUI active. However, the dialog box keeps popping up over the arena window.
