Congrats on this very strong competitor. The power of Circular Targeting indeed is underestimated in melee, all my bots (except GrofVuil) are using it. So the idea of getting to a good spot, occupied or not, gives you the edge in micromelee. I am curious though if you can hold #2 as soon as mini- and micro-battles are fought, as my experience is that meleemovements work best when other good meleebots are around. --GrubbmGait 23:30, 9 September 2009 (UTC) | Congrats on this very strong competitor. + | Thanks! I'm not quite sure what you mean about the mini/micro battles, I had always thought that all melee battles were fought with bots of all codesizes. And actually, while testing it, I found that it did much worse when very good bots were on the field. Trying to take a corner from a nano melee bot with linear targeting and simple movement is often a good idea, whereas trying to take it from Shadow can be a recipe for disaster.... In fact, that happens far too often when it is placed in a battle with a top melee bot.--CrazyBassoonist 23:39, 9 September 2009 (UTC) |

--GrubbmGait 23:30, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
