Here is a list of events, minor or major, that happened in robocode/robowiki 2008:
- Pulsar's RoboRumble server experienced some serious trouble. Therefor the ranking there is not reliable anymore.
- ABC initiated a temporary RR server, Darkcanuck offered a replacement server with some cool extras
- The old wiki became obsolete
- I successfully programmed my first PM bot! :)

- DrussGT kicked Dookious off the throne... ;-) --Skilgannon 20:49, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- LunarTwins and Polylunar came into the scene with a totally fresh team strategy. LunarTwins kicked everybot's ass in TwinDuel until Kev went and improved Gemini to beat LunarTwins. Similarly Polylunar kicked everybot's ass until Jab came along with DiamondStealers. --Rednaxela 22:01, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
- Frankly, I did nothing the past year, except for running my client. 2009 will be different though . . . Be prepared. --GrubbmGait 22:50, 31 December 2008 (UTC)
