Many bots actively try to attain an optimal distance to the enemy robot. In melee it is generally better to be far away from the other bots, whereas in One on One there are more things to be taken into account:

  • If your main goal is survival, increase distance.
  • If your main goal is to inflict damage, decrease distance.
  • Fighting at a close distance can help push the other bot into corners.
