So until 1.05, I had a really stupid bug in my risk evaluation / comparison. I initialized the "best risk" to the risk of the previous destination plus a slight bias towards it. But when I found a safer destination, I'd never update the "best risk", so I just ended up taking the last point checked with a lower risk than the previous destination's risk. Fixing it gained me no points, I actually lost a few. :-P Such is Melee... --[[User:Voidious|Voidious]] 00:33, 18 August 2009 (UTC)

Best risk bug

So until 1.05, I had a really stupid bug in my risk evaluation / comparison. I initialized the "best risk" to the risk of the previous destination plus a slight bias towards it. But when I found a safer destination, I'd never update the "best risk", so I just ended up taking the last point checked with a lower risk than the previous destination's risk. Fixing it gained me no points, I actually lost a few. :-P Such is Melee... --Voidious 00:33, 18 August 2009 (UTC)
