Hello!
I'm a programmer by trade, and I've been playing with Robocode on and off for a couple of years. From the beginning, the wiki is what really drew me in. At first I didn't want to build my own robot, but I spent hours reading everything on this site to learn how the best bots were able to dance around, magically avoiding bullets.
I finally have a bot in the works that's doing well in my own tests. I'm trying to build a Bullet_Shielding bot; my first goal is to get at least a 50% win record against every bot in the rumble, though I'm sure those nice results won't last long. I'm making this page to motivate myself to actually release the thing instead of tweaking forever and ever.
Here's the bot: MoxieBot
