Hey and welcome! Interesting to read about Darwinbots, which I haven't heard of before. It seems to have a fairly active community. But I guess it's Windows only so I probably won't be playing with it much. Kind of funny, too, as I've recently been trying to think of ideas for a programming game that would incorporate genetic algorithms - some of us have taken an interest in them a bit here in tuning our Robocode bots, but it's not really a core focus in most Robocode development.

Anyway, best of luck with your bots and feel free to post if you have questions. :-)

Welcome from me too. One remark about your bot jmw.micro.Hornet. Internally it is named jdw.Hornet. RoboRumble is picky about the naming of bots, it expects the name of the bot and the package to be the same. One way to assure that is to use Robocode to package the bot and use the naming (except versionnumber) as Robocode proposes. Now I get a 'Downloaded file is wrong or corrupted.' (ZipException) in my RR client, and your bot gets no battles.

Sorry about that, that's my little brother's bot that I uploaded for him. Looks like I changed the author in some places and not others. Anyways, I'll just change it to my name to be simple.
