About being 16 - I also started Robocode when I was 16, so nothing to worry about. I'm not sure how much trig, linear algebra and parametric equations you've done, but for me Robocode was something that taught me more in these fields than school did, quite aside from all of the artificial intelligence stuff. So you've probably got a steep learning curve, but nothing you can't handle, I'm sure. Welcome! And if you have any questions, just ask =)

I am also 16 right now, and I started Robocode when I was 13. There are nothing to worry about your age, really. (I think my biggest problem when I started Robocode is the language; I am Thai).
