x.x5 firepower bug

Long time ago I started to exploit the x.x5 firepower bug, but with limited success. I then tested all firepowers between 0.15 and 2.95 (step 0.1), and only a few of them really exploited the bug. The rest were recognized by the opponent after a few hits. Maybe it is depending on OS and Java-version, because my 'shortlist' turned out to be different than the preferred powers of some other bots. And looking at the 'progress' your version made, it seems to do just a very minor good while hurting your PL and survival.

Right now I'm focused on APS and this exploit gives 0.3%. And I hope, that Emerald will become top bot, where this feature will be not so important to win or it will be easy to disable this feature based on hit rates. Also I want to show on Emerald's example influence of different features and tweaks on scores and I plan to write article with overview of features required for top bot and thrir's gain to effort rate.

Hi all!
I'm back for a while:)
Neutrino is written on Kotlin and i test it with java 6 and 7 on windows and linux in robocode distribution without any changes and it works well, so i think there should not be trubles. But if anyone will experience them, please, let me know early, so i can switch back to java, when it's not too late

As long as it doesn't require a runtime library to run I see no reason why not to allow it. It was this that kept Scala from becoming a major Robocode language.

Heck I might try it, it looks neat.

Under what Chase said Ceylon, Fantom, Gosu, Kotlin, are eligible languages for robocode

It sounds cool:)

Other subatomic particles sound cool too. I think theoretical physicists are just the best namers around.

Though while neutrino's are the smallest known particle, there are also Protons, Neutrons, Quarks, Muons, and so on.

In my case (and originally i wrote it) neutrino is also build server at my work and dj from radio, which i listened to, when starting to write new robot. So it's largely just a case:)
