Neural Targeting???

Er.... Why is Neural Targeting here? Neural nets are not statistical algorithms in the slightest even if they're more similar to them than log-based... Does anyone object if I move it? --Rednaxela 17:38, 26 April 2009 (UTC)

The description of this category is clumsy and should probably align directly to something like wikipedia:Statistical classification. Though from the description there, it sounds like basically all of our learning guns would qualify, including clustering and possibly neural networks, so maybe this category is redundant to even have.

I didn't question it at the time, but Rednaxela, wikipedia:Artificial neural network does call them statistical ("non-linear statistical data modeling tools"). They aren't listed under wikipedia:Category:Statistical algorithms though.

Maybe we should delete this category and just have a page for Statistical Targeting that describes roughly what most existing discussion mean when the term is used?
