Chronicle of 2008

Here is a list of events, minor or major, that happened in robocode/robowiki 2008:

• Pulsar's RoboRumble server experienced some serious trouble. Therefor the ranking there is not reliable anymore.
• ABC initiated a temporary RR server, Darkcanuck offered a replacement server with some cool extras
• The old wiki became obsolete
• I successfully programmed my first PM bot! :)

• First robocode release of this year: 1.5.2.
• Last release of this year: 1.6.2 beta 4.

• I entered robocode cummunity.

• LunarTwins and Polylunar came into the scene with a totally fresh team strategy. LunarTwins kicked everybot's ass in TwinDuel until Kev went and improved Gemini to beat LunarTwins. Similarly Polylunar kicked everybot's ass until Jab came along with DiamondStealers. --Rednaxela 22:01, 31 December 2008 (UTC)

• Released my first 1-on-1 bot, Gaff which made the top-100 and set a new TC2007 high score against Shadow. Which was only possible after many hours running RoboResearch. --Darkcanuck 20:27, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
