Thanks mate. I guess wallabys are very small, so they can easily be overseen :).

Yes i have some MeleeBots (mini, mega) in development and i hope i can release one of them soon. Right now i'm more concentrated on my TwinTeam. Technically is wallaby finished, but while working on my other bots i get some new ideas every once in a while and look how it works. The really burden is, that i have around 30 bytes left to play with (if stripped of all the minor tweaks) and i can not give up to find something that would use this 30 bytes well (in terms of APS gain).

I'm definitely intended to "scare" you :)

By the way, after an evening of mucking with BrokenSword yesterday, having pretty good success and ending up at #40 in General MeleeRumble... I have to say that you getting a MicroBot to #15 among MegaBots is totally amazing! I think LittleBlackBook is about the only other bot that is so strong outside his weight class, and he's, well, "special". =)

Well, the sad thing is that i still think it is an average bot. My gut always tells me that i'm doing some things totally wrong (in mathematical terms). I would say i have a quite good feeling about the overall dynamics of melee battles but the lack of mathematical knowledge holds me more back than i would admit. If i look at the simple (naive) average velocity calculation i could bang my head constantly on the table. But so far every more sophisticated approach failed horribly. I think it is just a matter of time to recover my somewhat rusty math skills and hopefully it will be end up in a good challenge for you and all the other top RoboCoder. I thought i could release a MegaBot soon but have to admit that without a appropriate 1vs1 strategy it would be not good at all.

Anyway thanks for the nice words and take care.

Aehm? This looks very odd....

Looks like something went wrong with the rumble. Is it possible to revert this results?

Wallaby 3.9 vs Capulet 1.2
Wallaby 3.9 vs Sim2 1.02
Wallaby 3.9 vs Quokka 1.6

and so on

I hope it was just an accident :( and Stelokim can fix this.

Try contacting Darkcanuck. He is the admin and can delete the invalid uploads from the database.

Hmm just a quick question ... how do i contact him? By just putting the issue on his talk page or is there another way to do this?

take care

I'd add a post to Talk:Darkcanuck/RRServer. I also have his email if he doesn't respond.

I would post to Stelokim's talk page to ask him to stop / inspect his clients, too. You can always just re-release Wallaby if the bad clients are stopped.

Voidious16:56, 25 June 2012

Ah ok. Thanks. I think i just release a new version this sounds like the least trouble for everybody.

Wompi17:10, 25 June 2012

Assuming your bot is the only one affected by the bad clients, yes. But there might be others.

MN17:19, 25 June 2012

Hmm good point. You'r right i leave a message on Darkcanucks page then to.
