I'm a programmer by trade, and I've been playing with Robocode on and off for a couple of years. From the beginning, the wiki is what really drew me in. At first I didn't want to build my own robot, but I spent hours reading everything on this site to learn how the best bots were able to dance around, magically avoiding bullets.

I finally have a bot in the works that's doing well in my own tests. I'm trying out what I think is a new strategy; my first goal is to get at least a 50% win record against every bot in the rumble. I'm making this page to motivate myself to actually release the thing instead of tweaking forever and ever.
