Background Information
- What's special about it?
- It is a nanobot, a perceptual bot and a rambot. Add the 3 together and the result is an annoying problem bot.
- How competitive it is?
- It is one of the strongest perceptual bots in the rumble.
- It can also defeat a few WaveSurfing/GuessFactor megabots with bad energy management.
Strategy
- How does it move?
- Ramming Movement inspired on GrubbmThree. It follows the same direction the gun is pointing at.
- How does it fire?
- How does it dodge bullets?
- It doesn´t.
- How does the melee strategy differ from one-on-one strategy?
- It doesn´t.
- How does it select a target to attack/avoid in melee ?
- It always picks the last scanned target. Can´t see any other way to select targets with perceptual bots.
- What does it save between rounds and matches?
- Nothing.
Additional Information
- Where did you get the name?
- From BulletCatcher, but it tries to hit bots instead of bullets.
- Can I use your code?
- Yes, although almost all of the code is already on the wiki.
- What's next for your robot?
- Maybe some genetic tuning on the energy management.
- But probably nothing, there is not much room for improvement unless I sacrifice one of the 3 main caracteristics (nanobot, perceptual bot and rambot).
- What other robot(s) is it based on?
- GrubbmThree ("following its own bullets" idea)
