Just letting you know, CAPTCHA on edit external link is very boring. Since we sometimes links to old wiki for some discussion, we have to correct that CAPTCHA, and reCAPTCHA is going harder and harder :-) Since we need CAPTCHA to register, can you turn off CAPTCHA on edit, please? Or please change to old wiki math-style captcha, as it is much more easy to solve. » Nat | Talk » 08:54, 15 April 2009 (UTC)

: The worry I have is that some spammers might have enough human oversight that they could manually create an account, login, then let their bot go mad spamming us. Once upon a time, the old wiki was attacked by spammers so relentlessly that we were all reverting pages for days and days - it was very painful. So I'm very paranoid about it now. If a lot of people dislike the CAPTCHA, and I know I'll be around to turn it back on if anything happens, maybe we can try turning it off for edits (and leaving it on for registration) for a while and see what happens. --Voidious 14:53, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

Why don't we try open annon edit again? It seems that several recent edits is a minor correction by our well-wisher, and they have to create account for it. Which, in case I'm those well-wishers and I have to register, I'll not correct them. --14:49, 13 February 2010 (UTC)

I sort of think the "Current events" should focus more on wiki happenings, bot releases, new methods / ideas being discussed, and not so much on RoboRumble battles. Individual battles among top bots have a lot of variance, and the PL crown can change hands often. Though it is interesting to see it listed like that, sporting event style, so maybe just a couple of the most important RoboRumble pieces could go on there? --Voidious 14:57, 16 April 2009 (UTC)

AaronR: Note that the image links I put on the "Robocode Documentation" pages are temporary. I will replace these with uploaded images later. My first priority is to add all documentations. Second priority is "goal plate" the pages. But anybody is welcome to replace the links with uploaded images. ;-) --Flemming N. Larsen 11:44, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

 • Sorry about that, I wasn't sure what pattern you are following. I was going to update this page anyway, and I need to remove one of the items from the list to make room for a new item, so I'll remove the Robocode Documentation one and let you work in peace. ;) --AaronR 18:28, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Just saying hi quickly

Hello, I'm oOgerryOo.

Just saying hello - I'm new.

Welcome to the wiki! Make yourself a username and a page here! (And at the old wiki too, if you like.) --AaronR 05:29, 18 December 2007 (UTC)

News section, or the lack of such

I am wondering.. where do we have a News section? I should at least want a page about news, which again contains a link with "Robocode News", and other people should provide links to interesting stuff on the News page for other matters. So, where should we put it? --Fnl 22:28, 21 January 2008 (UTC)

Right here! I believe that was the point of this page. At present, it only contains the contents of CurrentEventsShort, but that isn't mandatory (the template version is just a summary of events for the Main Page, hence the name CurrentEventsShort). « AaronR « Talk « 20:35, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
This page now has a separate list from the Main Page, so you can add all the news you want to it. =) By the way, does anyone else think it might be a good idea to move this page into the project namespace (i.e. RoboWiki:Current events)? « AaronR « Talk « 21:10, 24 January 2008 (UTC)
