There's some discussion of it [http://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Help_talk:Category#Redundancy_of_super-categories here]. The issue I have with this is that I ''would'' like to be able to see a list of all bots at [[:Category:Bots]]. The idea is that it's redundant to have a page in a category and an ancestor of that category. There's some discussion of it here. The issue I have with this is that I would like to be able to see a list of all bots at Category:Bots. But we already have that information in the database, so hopefully I can figure out how to display that without the redundant categories (with an extension or otherwise). --Voidious 13:50, 28 May 2009 (UTC)
